Overview
The WastePac WT48200 is a high-powered industrial shredder engineered for serious throughput and durability in large-scale waste processing environments. Driven by twin 75kW motors, this single shaft shredder is capable of slicing through a wide range of materials, including hard plastics, timber, cables, paper, light metals, tyres (up to 4×4), and mattress springs.
Its hardened DC53 steel cutters are designed for extended service life and can be rotated to reduce operational costs. Customers can choose between a high-performance rotor for general recyclables or a hard material rotor for dense and abrasive waste such as PC, Nylon, and ABS. The WT48200 also includes a generous loading aperture, integrated hydraulic power pack, auto-reverse protection, and shock absorbers for reliable operation under heavy loads.
Additional options such as film rotors, swinging arm feeders, custom hopper designs, and in-feed/out-feed conveyors allow for full customisation to your workflow. Built for efficiency, longevity, and versatility, the WT48200 is the go-to choice for industrial-grade shredding performance.
