A full-swing bin lifter should be used when large volumes of waste need to be emptied efficiently in a controlled environment with plenty of space.

These lifters raise wheeled bins using a smooth, arcing “full swing” motion, tipping the bin forward to empty its contents into a skip, hopper, or larger waste container.

Safe Working Load (SWL) is the maximum weight the equipment is designed to lift during normal operation. It includes the combined weight of the bin and its contents.

Choose a bin lifter with an SWL that exceeds the weight of the heaviest fully loaded bin used at your site.

Do not select a bin lifter based on bin capacity alone. Two 240L bins can weigh very different amounts depending on whether they contain paper, food waste, glass or construction offcuts.

Choose a tipping height that allows the bin to safely clear the upper edge of the skip, compactor, baler, hopper or container it is emptying into.
