Overview
The WastePac Drum Crusher is a heavy-duty, industrial-grade solution designed to safely compact steel drums up to 205 litres, reducing waste volume, improving workplace housekeeping and lowering transport and disposal costs. Delivering a powerful 6:1 compaction ratio, it transforms bulky drums into dense, recyclable steel discs, making them easier to store, handle and recycle.
Built for demanding industrial environments, the WastePac Drum Crusher features a powerful hydraulic compaction ram enclosed within a fully guarded crushing chamber for maximum operator safety. During every compaction cycle, the machine automatically pierces the base of the drum, allowing residual liquids to drain safely into an integrated 30-litre oil retention tank with tap connection for clean and controlled disposal.
The WastePac Drum Crusher is ideally suited to manufacturing facilities, workshops, mining operations, chemical plants and waste management sites where empty steel drums become difficult to store, transport or dispose of.
An optional multi-head attachment features a folding four-wing compaction head that allows bulky oil filters to be compacted directly inside a standard 205-litre drum. Once the drum has been filled, the wings fold away, allowing the same machine to compact the drum into a dense, recyclable steel disc. This option is particularly valuable for workshops managing large volumes of used oil filters.
The standard compaction head can also be used to safely compact bulky air filters, making the WastePac Drum Crusher an ideal solution for mine site workshops and heavy vehicle maintenance facilities where both air filters and steel drums are common waste streams. Additional inserts are also available for compacting smaller drums and specialised waste containers.
Available in a galvanised finish for harsh operating environments, the WastePac Drum Crusher combines robust construction, operator safety and flexible waste handling capabilities, making it a practical long-term solution for reducing the volume of steel drums and workshop waste.
