Overview
The WastePac Gyprock Reducer is a powerful, purpose-built pulveriser designed to process both plasterboard and glass waste streams. Instead of sending bulky plasterboard to landfill, this machine converts it into a fine gypsum powder that can be repurposed as a valuable soil improver in agriculture—turning waste into a revenue-generating resource.
Recovered gypsum has a wide range of applications, including improving clay soils, supplying calcium and sulfur to crops, reducing soil salinity, and stabilising compost. It can also be reused in the production of new plasterboard, cement additives, or in environmental remediation like mine site rehabilitation and erosion control.
The system also handles glass, producing a clean “safe-glass” output free of sharp edges and screened for contaminants such as caps, labels, ceramics, and metal. Its high volume-reduction ratio saves on transport and disposal costs, while optional extras like trommels and feed conveyors allow customisation for your workflow.
