Overview
The Olnova 85 Series Mobile Shredder represents the pinnacle of performance and capacity in the Olnova lineup. Engineered in Germany and built for extreme throughput, this primary shredder is capable of processing up to 100 tonnes per hour (depending on material). It’s ideally suited for tough waste streams including industrial and municipal waste, tyres, bulky waste, C&D waste, paper rolls, railway sleepers, mixed waste, and even car bodies.
The 85 Series is available in multiple configurations to suit varying operational requirements:
- Mobile (VB 85 DK): Track-mounted with a commanding 480 hp (358 kW) diesel engine for superior mobility and power in the field.
- Stationary (VB 85 D): Diesel-powered with the same robust engine, delivering high output from a fixed installation.
- Stationary (VB 85 E): Twin 429 hp (320 kW) electric motors provide reliable, efficient, and low-maintenance shredding performance.
Each model is equipped with high-durability shredding components, remote control, reverse shaft mode to prevent blockages, a hydraulic discharge conveyor, and an integrated ESD system. Optional extras include overbelt magnet, water sprinkling, reversible radiator fans, sieve systems, current generators (for electric models), and full Industry 4.0 integration for global remote diagnostics, performance feedback, and troubleshooting.
