Overview
The WastePac WT4080 is a rugged single shaft shredder designed for tough industrial waste streams. Featuring a large feed opening, it can easily handle bulky and dense materials such as timber offcuts, 205L metal drums, and rigid plastics. Ideal for manufacturing plants and recycling operations, this model supports high-capacity intake and customisable configurations to suit specific site needs.
An optional vertical force-feeding ram improves material throughput by delivering waste from above, while integrated shock absorbers protect the machine from excess vibration. The WT4080 features hardened DC53 steel rotor knives, a hydraulic pusher ram, auto-reverse protection, and a built-in hydraulic power pack for reliable performance. Rotor configurations can be tailored to suit soft films, hard plastics, or mixed materials.
Optional extras include custom hopper designs, in-feed and out-feed conveyors, and elevated work platforms. Durable, efficient, and adaptable, the WT4080 is a go-to solution for operators handling bulky, abrasive, or high-density waste.
