The Eagle Tyre Punch Cutter is a precision-engineered solution for splitting large Off-the-Road (OTR) tyres through the centre of the tread, effectively halving the tyre like a bagel. Capable of handling sizes from 39-inch rims to a massive 14-foot diameter, this cutter is ideal for facilities dealing with high-volume OTR tyre downsizing.
Featuring a rugged, heat-treated 10-inch alloy punch blade, the machine delivers up to 8-inch cuts per operation. It is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC) and offers both automated and manual cutting modes. Once positioned onto the tyre with a telehandler, the cutter rotates around the circumference to complete the cutting cycle in approximately 8 minutes per tyre.
