Overview
The WastePac CRT Processor is a specialised glass pulveriser designed for the safe and efficient processing of cathode ray tubes (CRTs) from old TVs and monitors. These units contain hazardous materials like leaded glass and phosphor dust, making standard crushers unsuitable. The CRT Processor features a fully enclosed pulverising system with integrated dust extraction, metal separation, and patented flexible impactors to safely process up to 600 CRT tubes per hour. It produces a clean “safe-glass” output with no sharp edges and screens off contaminants like caps, ceramics, steel, and plastic.
In addition to CRTs, this system is ideal for processing plasterboard waste thanks to its ability to pulverise brittle, layered materials and capture fine gypsum dust. Its advanced dust control, separation systems, and “no sharp edges” output significantly enhance operator safety, protecting staff from airborne hazards and contact injuries.
Designed for high-throughput operations, the CRT Processor is low-maintenance and requires minimal training to operate safely. Optional extras like trommels, surge hoppers, bin lifters, and feed conveyors allow for scalable configurations tailored to your processing capacity and workflow.
