Part of the premium Vertech range, the Barclay Classifier is a high-performance screening solution engineered to optimise tyre shredding systems. Designed to pair with Barclay’s primary and secondary shredders, this classifier delivers consistently sized rubber chips of 2″”, 4″”, or 6″” (50 mm, 100 mm, or 150 mm), ensuring only undersized or oversized material is reprocessed.
Featuring a generous 50 ft² (4.6 m²) screening area and powered by a 5 hp inverter gearmotor, the unit processes up to 16 tons (14.5 tonnes) of material per hour. Seven heavy-duty shafts and abrasion-resistant discs provide durability and reduce downtime, making it ideal for continuous, high-throughput operations.
As a key component of Vertech’s premium tyre processing solutions, the Barclay Classifier improves consistency, boosts recovery rates, and helps meet stringent export specifications. It includes a reversible feed that accepts a chute, removable legs for flexible installation, and easy service access for low-maintenance operation.
