The Waste Challenge

Cleanaway’s Customer was dealing with large volumes of bulky timber crates that couldn’t be efficiently compacted.
Multiple bins across the site were taking up valuable floor space, increasing handling time, and driving frequent collections.
At peak, this meant:
• Up to 10 truck movements per week
• Excess labour spent moving bins and breaking down waste
• Inefficient transport of low-density waste
• A cluttered work site that created hazards and additional OH&S concerns that needed to be managed

We were sending a lot of air in the containers…it wasn’t efficient from a cost, space or time perspective.

THE SOLUTION

Working with Cleanaway, a Roll Packer was introduced as part of a broader waste management solution.
Rather than increasing collections, the focus shifted to:
• Reducing waste volume at source
• Consolidating waste into a single location
• Improving overall site efficiency
• Consolidation of the total waste contract of the customer to Cleanaway

• Cleaner, more structured waste handling process
