Challenge
A well-known hardware retailer was looking to replace their current balers in almost a hundred stores nationwide. They contacted Waste Initiatives to discuss options that would best suit their needs.
Cardboard and film waste being the primary issue, balers with the correct specification were the main focus and providing they would fit into confined storage spaces. Other criteria were to have a baler that would be easy to operate and maintained by staff members.
These balers had to be installed nationwide over a specific timeframe and serviced on an annual basis.
Solution
Waste initiatives supplied just short of 200 WastePac 300LH and 60 balers to stores across Australia. The 300LH for the cardboard waste and the 60 for the plastic film.
